MWC 2013 – Asus releases its teaser, promises something new
MWC 2013 is going to begin in four days and all major companies are lining up to showcase their product portfolio for the event. Asustek Inc is one of the first companies to have released a full teaser trailer which is a short-viral video online which shows nothing in terms of what products it plans to launch, but does hint at possibilities through cryptic symbols.
The video starts with a spaceship flying over the rooftops of Barcelona (seems fitting as the event is going to be held there) and then finally landing over what looks like a church. This is followed by a message saying ‘Ultimate Craftsmanship. Today’ and then finally the video fades to black with the words ‘Join Asus to embrace the metallic miracle’.
The Asus event website where the video is posted promises another video to be posted sometime later today and also the words ‘Join us on Feb 25, when Pad and Fone come together’.

from the video and the words on the page. One, Asus is indeed planning to launch the successor to the Padfone 2 at the MWC. And second, the words ‘Metallic miracle’ maybe a reference to the use of metallic chassis on whatever Asus will be launching at the event.
Hopefully the second teaser trailer will provide us with some concrete facts rather than another cryptic message. If not, then Feb 25 is not too far off, when everything will be finally revealed. In the meantime you can watch the teaser trailer below.
