Xperia Tablet Z announced – Quad Core, 10.1 inch and Full HD screen
Xperia Tablet Z, which was earlier rumored to make its debut at the CES 2013, has been just made official by Sony. Announced bright and early in Japan yesterday is the Sony Xperia Tablet Z which will feature a 10.1 inch screen supporting a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Under its hood will be the 1.5 GHz quad core processor which will run the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The latest Xperia Tablet Z by Sony has a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core APQ8064 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, a 10.1-inch 1,920 x 1,200 screen (with Mobile Bravia Engine 2), an 8.1-megapixel Exmor R camera, NFC, LTE (MDM9215M radio), microSD expansion and Sony’s very own “S-Force” virtual surround sound technology.
Amazingly, these are all packed tightly into a 6.9mm-thick, 495g-heavy body which makes the Xperia Tablet Z the world’s thinnest and lightest 10-inch tablet. Also to top it,the Xperia Tablet Z will also be both waterproof and dustproof and will be powered by a battery of 6000 mAh.
The Xperia Tablet Z will run on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and has the same design language as its smartphone counterpart, the Sony Xperia Z. Sony announced the new flagship smartphone Xperia Z at the recently concluded CES 2013 event and judging by the initial reports, the new smartphone has managed to garner enough number of eye-balls already.
