Acer Inconia B1 - A71 – the tablet targeted at young or new users or families looking for an additional tablet for their children has just been made official. The Android Jelly Bean tablet was announced and showcased just days before the CES 2013 event has now been announced officially at the CES 2013.

Acer Iconia B1-A71 will be available with a starting price less than $150 (approx. Rs.8,250).There’s no proper time frame on when it will actually launch though, but we have already got hints that the tablet will make it to the Indian shelves by January end. At 7-inches, the display is comfortable for e-reading, web browsing, playing games and watching videos.

At this price point, the Acer Iconia B1 A71 will compete with many other budget friendly tablets from the likes of Karbonn, Micromax , etc whenever it launches in India. But it will be the first tablet, from a world re-known hardware vendor, to hit the Indian shores at this price range.
