LG Nexus 4 may launch by November end in India
LG Nexus 4 – the next Google based Nexus smartphone with LG as partners may land in India by November end, if sources at popular Indian blog tech2.in.com are to be believed.
As per a report by IBNLive, in an interview with Amit Gujral, Head of Mobile Product Planning at LG, at the Optimus Vu event stated that the upcoming handset from Google co-manufactured by LG will be unveiled on October 29, and will be launched in India by the end of November.
There are already strong indications that Google may announce a slew of Android devices for the October 29 Android event. LG Nexus 4 is one of them, but it is only the device which has been leaked previously and has also got a full preview. LG Nexus 4 is based on the LG Optimus G and is rumored to have a 4.7-inch display, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, and will run on Google’s upcoming mobile operating system, Android v4.2.
LG Nexus 4 Details
Though spotted many times in the wild, LG Nexus 4 specs have been leaked by popular tweeter @eveleaks. As per the tweet, “LG Nexus 4 (E960): Quad-core APQ8064 @1.5GHz, 4.7″@1280×768, 2GB/16GB(8GB), 8MP/1.3MP, JB MR1, 2100mAh, 9.1mm, 139g.”
Also the Android smartphone has been also leaked in multiple shots by a Belarussian website and judging from the images of the device, it looks extremely similar to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The major differences in the appearance of the phones are that the Nexus 4 doesn’t sport the same curved screen that is present on the Galaxy Nexus, and the presence of a chrome ring around the bezel.
What ever be the case all the details and the curtain of the LG Nexus 4 will be lifted on October 29, the same day another tech giant Microsoft will unveil the Windows Phone 8 OS to the world.
